For anyone who is interested in getting the financial situation under control this is a very good book to start.Just a warning: the writing style is not for everyone. If you wanna be pampered and read nice things and kind tipps this is not the book for you!Ramit comes to the point. He speaks his mind and is not afraid to use harsh language though with humor. It is a very black humor and he is oftentime sarcastic but for me it worked perfectly fine.As mentioned by others: his advice is geared towards readers living in the US but I can assure you that nearly everyone else can also profit from it.
Shipping and HandlingNot problems here.The Book ItselfI enjoyed reading this book and it gave a lot of great real-life tipps that are actionable the moment you finish the chapter. Great!A few of the things are rather relevant to the US however. E.g.: The specific usage of Credit Cards and the 401k which is a purely US concept.Altogether the book was nice and I can recommend it to anyone, with US readers having even a few more benefits.

Not quite through with the book but I thouroughly enjoy Ramit's easy, conversational tone. Most of the content is not applicable to anyone interested in personal finance outside of the US but the basic principles, fundamentals and approaches to personal finances are universal such as the 60/10/10/20 approach (and others) to planning your finances.
Overall solid book. To those that have no clue how to manage your money or are drowning in debts, its a godsend. Just remember to act on the advices.
Great book, great author!I definitely recommend it to everyone, even those who think they have control over their finances, you would be surprised by some facts explained in the book.
A very nice book with practical advices for young people, however experiences are US-focused and sections sometimes become too long.
